Portrait Sketch

A quick portrait sketch, about 1 1/2 hours.
Pencils. I didn't have much trouble, but I need to work on my shading. I can draw an outline of the face pretty accurately, but making it look realistic is another thing.

Village cottage silhouette tests

Tried an exercise to create different buildings using silhouettes. A lot of fun, and gets the creativity flowing. A few changes to the first silhouette and it creates a whole different building!
